On arrival, you’ll first pass through a peaceful inner courtyard, giving the sense of a little retreat within the hustle and bustle of Parisian life. Inside, a home flooded with natural daylight awaits, thanks to the impressive lantern window which soars above the mezzanine (don’t worry about waking up to the sunrise – black-out blinds take care of that). The hosts worked with a renowned Parisian designer to style this home and it shows. We love the pared-back elegance and clutter-free spaces. Climb the charming spiral staircase to discover a huge bedroom and additional lounge space, with exposed rafters adding plenty of character. Back downstairs, there’s an ample oval dining table that’s perfect for coming together for long and lazy mealtimes. Or head out onto the surrounding streets and you’ll find chic cafes and restaurants located on nearly every corner of this district, along with authentic bakeries by the dozen to pick up those obligatory French pastries for breakfast. And of course, no visit to this part of town would be complete without an evening at the Moulin Rouge, located a mere five-minute walk away.

*Two guests may use the sofa bed in the second smaller living space – a curtain can provide some privacy from the main living room
*It´s on a third floor with no lift access, so get ready to climb some stairs
*There isn’t a permanent air-conditioning system but there are two portable units, one in the mezzanine and a second one in the living space

*Part of a managed building, there’s a receptionist team on hand who will be happy to offer inside knowledge on the area
