Inside, contemporary and vintage furnishings combine with an elaborate hearth and cowhide rug in the first-floor living room, while downstairs, rustic charm abounds in the bright, white dining room. Exit through the French doors to reach the lush garden, where a jade green swimming pool invites swimming and sun-soaking aplenty. In the evening, the pool takes on a magical lantern-lit glow, perfect for sundown dips. Steal yourself away for an intimate drink under the stone portico, then sit down for an al fresco meal, courtesy of the barbecue. When it’s time for bed, canopied beds and a private suite under the home’s eaves will treat you to a dreamy night's sleep.
