Description Porcelain Club: Lisboa

Porcelain Club is calm, quiet, and comfortable. We like that it’s bright and welcoming, as well as expertly decorated with Eames-style chairs and a few (well-curated) splashes of colour. While the kitchen is stylish (we love the geometric pattern backsplash), it’s not great for cooking up a storm (there’s no oven). The location is its superpower – you’re close to the waterfront, and only moments away from Alfama, Lisbon’s historic old town.

Home truths:
*The kitchen isn’t as well-equipped as we would have liked it to be – there’s no oven
*Since there are no windows in the bathroom, there’s little natural ventilation
*Guests 3 and 4 would be on a sofa bed in the living room
*The walls could do with a lick of paint to cover up scuff marks
*Aside from the TV, there aren’t that many entertainment options
*The bed in the master bedroom is made up of two singles pushed together to make a double
