Being in central Bairro Alto, this home is right in the thick of the action. There's a record shop right below this apartment – ideal for music lovers. If browsing stylish boutiques is more your bag, then this place is perfect – it's just a four-minute stroll to chic Chiado. You'll also find the iconic 1700s Bertrand Bookstore and stylish restaurants in the neighbourhood too. Or, it's just a five-minute saunter to Praça Luís de Camões with its statues of Portuguese literary icons, as well as the National Theatre of São Carlos. Other attractions nearby include the Elevador De Santa Justa, a seven-minute amble and Lisbon Cathedral, a fifteen-minute walk away. Back at this apartment, we loved the private terrace with its parasol and bamboo privacy screens – it's the perfect place for a drink or alfresco meal. Inside, light the candles dotted around the living room and relax on the comfy sofa. The botanical prints, plants and textured cushions in this room give it a homely feel. This place is ideal for a couple, business professionals or friends looking for a sought-after location.

About Saldanha
Saldanha is the uptown business district of Lisbon, filled with designer shops and upscale restaurants that contrast the modern buildings where many locals spend their working days. But it's not like Saldanha closes down after five – there's plenty of residents who appreciate the neighbourhood's sleek look. As a consequence, Saldanha has a great fresh food market, a few cosy cafes, parks and everything else you might need for a great stay. The traffic connections are fast and abundant, meaning most parts of Central Lisbon are only a short train ride away.
