A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at this 16th century Manor Farm, peacefully located 9 miles from the popular coastal seaside resort of Bude. There is something on offer for everyone with plenty of space for recreation, with large safe enclosed gardens, beautiful lawns and colourful shrubs, patios with garden furniture, swings and sandpits. Perfectly positioned within a beautiful part of Cornwall you will be close to the spectacular North Cornish coast and moors that provide an abundance of all perennial activities from surfing, cycling, walking and golf to name but a few. If you can tear yourselves away for a while you will find plenty to see and do with many well known attractions, including The Eden Project, Newquay Zoo, Padstow, Polzeath, Launceston Steam Railway, The Milky Way and more. Bude, just 20 minutes away includes sandy beaches perfect for surfing, shops, pubs, restaurants, Splashpool and historical canal. Converted from a former milk parlour, this property retains many original and distinctive features, including exposed beams and Cornish stonework. Upon entering the ground floor of the property, guests will find the lounge, open plan kitchen/diner and separate WC. In the cosy lounge is everything you will need to enjoy a relaxing night in, including comfortable furniture, a Smart TV and DVD, wood burner, which is set within a magnificent granite pillar fireplace. Out to the oak fitted kitchen/diner, there is a dining table as well as a range of appliances which comprise of a ceramic hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and use of a tumble dryer. Should you wish to take a break from preparing meals, there is not only the option to dine out but also to have home cooked meals prepared by a local chef and delivered direct to your cottage door (at an additional charge). Upstairs are the three bedrooms: a king size, a double and a twin, as well as the bathroom, which feature luxurious marble style panelling alongside a bath, separate shower and WC. Patio doors from the lounge lead out onto the large, enclosed patio with plenty of seating. A gas BBQ is also available should you wish to prepare and enjoy a meal al fresco. On site there are many kinds of leisure facilities to enjoy that are shared with the other properties at the farm, which include swings, sandpits, a full sized tennis court and a large indoor games area. This games barn contains something for all ages, with toddler friendly toys alongside equipment to play games of basketball, badminton, football and table tennis. Guests are also free to use the coarse fishing lake, take a walk along the farm trail, enjoy a pony ride, collect the eggs from the chickens and even meet the friendly pigs, alpacas and calves. Bottle feed the lambs during lambing season (between Easter and June). Other facilities are offered in advance and with an additional charge include beauty treatments, reflexology and massages. 1 dog welcome between 1st September through until 26th May excluding peak Easter period. Additionally, guests with a dog will be subject to a 150 refundable security deposit payable on arrival.
