Area
Knockin is a village resting in Shropshire, less than ten miles from the bustling market town of Oswestry and around fifteen miles to the county town of Shrewsbury. The village is rich in history, home to a 12th century church and an array of 17th and 18th century farmhouses in the surrounding area. The Knockin Shop is the local village store selling all the essentials while the local pub, Bradford Arms, served delicious pub grub. With all of Offa's Dyke, Montgomery Canal, and the lovely villages of Ludlow, Church Stretton and many more, there's plenty to do here.
Region
A E Housman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.
