If you’re looking for a quirky home for a romantic trip – or even a family adventure – without giving up on a little rustic luxury, this modern yurt just a short eleven-minute drive from Bude and its sandy beaches ticks all the right boxes. Unsurprisingly, the hot tub is our favourite feature – we can picture evening soaks gazing up at the stars with a glass of fizz in hand. A close second is its cosy interiors kept nice and toasty by the wood-burning stove and underfloor heating. This one's a real comforter. A modern kitchen and communal pizza oven make it a great option for budding chefs planning to roll up their sleeves and rustle up delicious meals to be enjoyed alfresco on the picnic table. Whether you're inside or out this spot offers space for a bit of rest and relaxation away from all the fuss back home. And when you're feeling exploratory, discover the South West Coast Path and its stunning scenery, only a thirty-minute drive away – just remember to pack your walking boots for when you arrive.

*You'll need a car to access this semi-remote home – there's parking on site
*The kitchen is more of a kitchenette, best suited for preparing lite bites and simple meals
*There's no TV at this home
*The second bedroom is very small and features a bunk-bed – we'd only recommend this for children
*There's not enough lounge seating for all guests (at full occupancy)
*There are other yurts in the plot, so it's not completely private
*Dogs are welcome (unfortunately no cats), but a charge of £25 per pet per stay/week will be applicable and required before your stay your host will arrange this with you after booking confirmation
*If you're bringing little ones along, a baby cot and high chair can be provided by the host
