A delightful cottage, in a row of similar properties, just a short walk from the beautiful harbour at Porthgain. This pretty hamlet is a real jewel of the Pembrokeshire coast, with a fabulous pub, restaurant and even an art gallery. It is a great spot for kayaking, for those with their own kayaks. The coastal path runs right through and offers walks to stunning Abereiddy, with renowned blue lagoon and beach and also Traeth Llyfn with steps right down to the sandy beach, which is less than a mile away. St Davids, the UK's smallest city, with breath taking cathedral, bishop s palace, tea rooms and good range of independent shops is just seven miles away and the perfect day out for all ages. Enter this former quarry workers cottage in to the hallway, where there is a doorway to the lounge. This cosy room has a sofa (sofa bed for alternative sleeping) and TV. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and a washing machine. This room has a gallery, as was synonymous with crog lofts, providing a partial upper floor for sleeping. As part of a substantial refurbishment in 2018, the new staircase leads to this mezzanine area which now forms a delightful, romantic king size bedroom, with bags of character but restricted height. There is a wet room with shower and WC on the ground floor. An excellent base for couples that enjoy a truly authentic seaside experience. Outside there is a lovely patio area to the front of the property with table and chairs, where you can hear the waves lap at the shoreline. There is roadside parking subject to availability.
