As soon as you arrive at this gorgeous villa on Crete, you'll feel all your worries melt away. Maybe it's because of the fresh sea breeze, or the jaw-dropping coastal views, or the high-end amenities, but one thing's for certain – you'll feel more relaxed than ever before.

Step through the front door, and you'll find a stylish interior that combines traditional stone walls with contemporary design. The open-plan set-up is perfect for socialising with your fellow guests – however, we think you'll be spending most of your time outside. The Jacuzzi has epic views across the water, while the sun loungers are perfect for catching some rays. When the mercury rises you can make a splash in the swimming pool, and if you get hungry then simply fire up the barbeque for an alfresco feast with a distinctly Greek flavour.

From the villa, it's just a 60m stroll directly to the local beach, where you can dip your toes in the Mediterranean Sea. The famous pink sands at Elafonissi Beach are only 13km away, and you'll find plenty more secluded coves and pretty harbours on your coastal travels. And, if you head inland, then there are rugged landscapes and hilltop villages galore – don't forget to stop off at one of the local tavernas as you go.
