Positioned on a raised hillside, in the quite hamlet of Easton, just a few minutes from Longtown and the Scottish Borders this is a fantastic location for a short break. Visit the castle city of Carlisle which is within easy reach, or you could explore nearby Hadrian s Wall and follow in the footsteps of the Romans. Visit the market town of Penrith with its quaint streets and a variety of restaurants and shops to explore. You are perfectly positioned for walking, hiking and mountain biking around the area. Enjoy a trip out and go and explore the wonders of the Lake District where you could take a boat ride on Ullswater or just wonder at the majestic mountains on offer. A path leads you through the garden to the shepherds hut which is accessed by three small steps. On entering the property you are greeted by a wood burner with the sleeping area straight ahead of you. There is a double bed which is slightly raised and offers wonderful views from the windows and a wall mounted TV/DVD. To your left as you enter you have your dining area with seating for two which is just perfect, and opposite is a bench seat for extra relaxation. For your convenience there is a microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge inside the shepherd s hut. Heading outside, located in a separate building nearby is the kitchen and separate shower room. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob and the stylish shower room has a shower and WC. There is a private area next to your accommodation where you have a picnic table for al fresco dining together with a BBQ and covered outdoor area for you to enjoy. From here you can sit back and enjoy the wonderful countryside views on offer. There is ample off road parking available. The owners have a menagerie of animals on the small holding and you are welcome to come say hello to any of them. Take a short walk through the meadow and into the trees where you will discover a peaceful little hideaway. Nestled next to the stream with beautiful views ahead, a perfect place to relax in the long summer evenings, with a fire pit for those chillier nights.
