Vommuli House
Vommuli House, which is the largest recreation center in the Maldives, was inspired by roots of banyan tree which was a tribute to the banyan tree that used to grow in that place before. Each of its 5 branches offer a unique activity. This is also where our Maldives 5-star resort's Children's Club and activities are also located.
St. Regis Maldives x Reefscapers
The most advanced coral reef regeneration program invites you to get involved through sponsorship opportunities in Maldives, educational classes, and activities with the resident Marine Biologist.
In partnership with Reefscapers Marine Environmental Consultancy, the finest address in the Maldives introduces the most advanced coral propagation program available to efficiently restore degraded reefs, unproductive sandy sea beds and reef flats. The initiative involves long-term monitoring and maintenance from a resident Marine Biologist and features guest-oriented activities to support the environmental efforts including snorkeling, marine life education classes for all ages, as well as opportunities to sponsor coral frames for reef regeneration.
The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort created an initial reef comprised of 25 structures at the onset of implementation. The frames will be monitored, pictured and shared with sponsors every six months via the Reefscapers website.
